Long Island Detail Supply AVOID!!

http://www.lidetail.com/contact_us.html

Ordered $75 worth of towels on June 2nd. Ordered my Zaino the same day. Zaino came 3 days later, towels MIA.

Called 6 times, emailed 4 after two weeks.

Credit card charged.

Stay Away!!

Anyone else having issues?

I've used Zaino for years (3) and the best cloth I've used is old Tee shirts. Mico cloths are Ok but Tee shirts just seem to work best for me. I use J.C. Penny Towncraft "ease". They're the softest.

Sorry about the towel issue. Hope that gets resolved.
Zaino sends out their orders out FAST!!!:headbang:

The best Microfiber Towels around are the ones from ProperAutoCare and from Pakshak. These work the best and don't put swirls on your paint.

I did order towels from Zaino..thank God!

Just really pissed I get everything together to Zaino the car on a 3 day weekend and no towels...for 21 days.

WTF!

Sorry to hear about your dilemma. :mad0260:

But you made the right move in getting the towles from Zaino.

Have same problem. Same business but the name is DF towels. Ordered a month ago and called and left VM also emailed said there was something wrong with my order process and was going to ship ASAP. That was three weeks and still nothing. No customer service and no answer to any of my request for info.

Banshee 07-02-2009 05:10 PM

Just an update...Charged card $75, no reciept, no confirmation, no emails.

No return calls (15) and NO return emails (12) after a month.

Had to call Chase Visa and have the charge reversed.

Again, avoid at all cost.

Rediculous!.. This is the same crap I went through with "DF Towel"

I finally had to dispute also.:mad0259:

I did not order Zaino towels originally, picked up the cheap "100% cotton" at the auto store. I know, shame on me!!! So I bit the bullet and ordered Zaino blonde towels, got them in right away. I am about to go wash and use those towels to dry and polish. They are absolutely the softest towels I have ever felt, and know they will work beautifully. I know they are a bit pricy, but I think I will get 3 more just so I know I will always have some ready to use. Good luck!!!

I'm expecting my Zaino arrival today! I checked UPS just now, and it says it's OUT FOR DELIVERY, at 4 AM. It's now 4 PM and still no package :(

Just in time....

I sent lidetail an email telling them i was about to order a load of zaino products but just heard they've screwed too many customers, so i'm ordering elsewhere. Told them they've now got a poor rep due to screwing over their customers and its all over the internet.
And as an LI resident, told 'em that i will make sure that i spread the word....
