I was at Gingerman yesterday and put my 1LE on the scales: 3823Lbs

Details:
  • 1SS/1LE: NPP Exhaust, BA stereo, B/U camera are the only options
  • 3/4 tank of gas
  • All stock: wheels, tires, suspension, battery...ect.
  • All badges have been removed (1-2 lbs??) and floor mats were out...all stock items in the trunk were left in.

Great, I'll weigh my 2SS this week when it hits 3/4's of a tank of gas and see what the difference is. :D

Damn that is 44 pounds lighter than my 3867 invoiced weight on this 2SS and you have 3/4 of a tank of fuel!! :frusty:

I have no sunroof, no leather, no HIDs......not sure what those equal?

Not that it matters but I do have a clear bra on it so that may balance out the weight from removing the badges :)

Very cool! I need to weigh mine now. I have zero options, no splitter, and GM Performance track exhaust. Winder if I can get it to 36xx with as little as gas as possible.

Why no splitter?

Don't care for it. So I never put it on.

Head over to the market place, your unused new splitter will sell in about an hour if it is fairly priced. New they list for $750. :thumb:

If the 1SS would have came with manual seats I bet the car would be under 3800 lbs.

Must be nice, my car completely stock was about 4,150 lbs with 3/4 of a tank. Ginger is a big girl.

How much does the NPP add? My car is 1LE and 1SS. No other options.

CamaroTom 07-01-2013 05:30 PM

I think the NPP is lighter than the exhaust it replaces.

Any ideas why the passenger front is so much heavier (23 lbs) than the drivers front?
