Erik@Torq 05-06-2011 09:19 AM

Thanks guys!

It was an awesome event and I am stoked that it went so well. even though they did screw up my mph on the 1/4 run (117mph) but a win is still a win

They car did exactly what she was supposed to, and as always was driven all the way from Miami to Houston, raced (won) and driven home again. I cannot say enough good things about the 5th Gen, how much I love it and she has always been there for me

Thanks a million to the all you members at Camaro5.com for choosing me and I hope you don't regret it :D This win was for you guys!

I would also like to thank our awesome vendors for making parts for these awesome cars that actually hold up to such insane abuse that my Camaro see's, Pfadt, Kooks, Brembo and many more.

I may be able to hold my own on the track, but it wouldn't be possible without quality parts!

/Erik

Very true! But having all that power and running on street tires isn't the best of course. He was blowing the tires off for the first 200ft.

I know the car has run a low 12 at 120 somthing previously, but that might have been on radials.

We got 3 runs in, I ran 12.7, 12.8, 12.7 at the same mph each time. He was all over the place with traction issues and whatnot, so as in road racing, a consistent car will always be faster that a high power car.

Well Done Erik!

Nice win!

I remember seeing your car at the first fest and was very impressed then... Obviously you've got it dialed in!
