Odometer reading when your Camaro was delivered?

New Camaro Owners....

What was the odometer reading on your new Camaro when it was delivered?

6. I would've gotten a picture... but I mean whats the first thing you're going to do when you get in your brand new Camaro, take a picture? Hah, right.

I believe it is required by law for your dealership to get the odometer reading and you have to sign a piece of paper prior to taking the car. Maybe I'm wrong but I have brought a few cars over the past 37 years.

Actually yes you should take full pics AT the lot. So that if there is a defect you have it on film. Like a fitment issue or a paint scratch etc etc.

Sort of... the ODO reading is written at time of title transfer. My C6 says 42 on the paperwork but that was after my test drive and what not so if anyone drives it around or whatever before you take delivery, those miles don't count towards your 3/36 warranty. When I order mine, likely soon, I will ask (tell, DEMAND) my car be backed off the truck and parked. They can prep it but no one drives it until I do!

Every time I've purchased/leased a new car, they always added some "fluff" to the initial reading and give me some free miles.

This won't work bud. They HAVE to do the PDI BEFORE you can drive it and the PDI involves them driving at highway speeds (differs from 35-55 depending on your area). You can ride with them (what I'm doing) but for legal and insurance reasons they can't let you drive it until this takes place.

Ya know What !!! This car is a brand spankin new SS and it better be new..... Every new car I buy has less then 3 km on it and my salesman is aware up front so he can deal with it. I did get my windows tinted in my "brand new" S10 4X4 that was in the new sold area for me but wiht 7.5 km on it ..... ah ha!

Told my dealer NO ONE touches the car and dont even think about PDI-ing it. I want it in "as-delivered" condition, PERIOD! He laughed and said "I get that request a lot. No problem."

Mine came off the truck with a reading of 4 miles, on June 12th. When I actually drove off the lot with it on June 15th, it read 19 miles.
