Long tube header news!
after seeing the prices posted for the gm shorty headers and cat back kit I thought I would let everyone in on a little info-
I have been contacted by a distributor for a major header company and my car has been chosen to be used to test/mock up a long-tube header system with x-pipe(with and without cats). so there will be a system available shortly after the cars start showing up. this is all i will say about this for now. |
Can you specify a price range?

lots of companies will either give you a free product or a discount if you lend them your car for their product r+d

How about some CARB certified long tubes for us CA residents that can't/don't want to spend ~7 hrs every 2 years to swap headers?
I know they could keep the CATs hot enough to pass emissions, but the CARB process is expensive and lengthy. Looks like a set of forged pistons and a Maggie are in the works for me... |
i believe it. we are getting measurements off of mine for the chambered exhaust for THR. i want some LT's tossed on there as well.;)

I think he's going to be doing his own thing. He said that he needed measurements for his chambered exhaust systems. I am pretty sure his previous chambered exhaust add ons to the 4th Gens he built were from GMMG. But, I think he's going to be building them himself through Tom Henry Racing.
