Today (well, yesterday) I made a "Cooler" mod for my IAT/MAF ...
http://www.box.net/shared/static/jdq6t5shdk.jpg Just wrapped up the MAF/IAT with a professionally made automotive heat blanket. No crazy drilling, no time consuming relocating, no insane wire cutting. Simple. Un-intrusive. Inexpensive. Obviously Effective (withstands 2000 degrees of radiant heat). Next (and last) the SLP Blackhawk tube/filter. ;) |
Well.. actually, sent it off to the frame shop last monday....... no progress yet, but we'll see..... ordered new PS pump, res, and pulley so I can put the front of the engine back together with the belt too...

Left my camaro at home while I took another car for a family roadtrip =(
|
Did the daily commute in my beater truck and left it in the garage for another week...
|
Saturday took the beast out for a much needed drive to get my "fix". Came home and did not cover her up. On Sunday gave her a good hand wash and covered her backup. Great weekend!!
|
yesterday i washed my car and put the ghost armor on my radio face, it looks real good, can't even tell it's there
|
Washed and waxed yesterday. Today I put blue vynil on my front and rear bow ties. I will put up pictures tonight when I get home.
Also went to four digits on the odometer, passed the 1,000 mile mark. |
Dropped it off at Speed Inc. in Schaumburg IL. for my upgrades this morning at 8:30AM.

Mine was 6 months old yesterday and gave it the first handwash with Adams! It's not my daily driver, just turned 1,600 miles on it and it's never been driven in the rain. So all I've had to do up 'till now is dust 'er off after each outing.
But it had a bunch of the brake dust on the inner part of the rims that I needed to get outta there, so I felt the need to give it a real good handwash. Looks awesome! |
washed mine yesterday with adams that stuff is the best after washing it the paint looks like its just poored on. and added 2lt emblems
|
took her to the bank and than parked her in my cousins driveway where shes been relaxin ever since
|
Gave her a wash and plotted out a list of mods

Gave it a quick detail via "Meguiars Ultimate Quick Detailer" and man does she look good! Leaving it in the garage, looks like it might rain.

A local sign & vinyl graphic shop did the inlays for $40. Now I thought that was a little steep but I'm very happy with the results. |
I switched my license plate lights to blue led bulbs...
|
Picked it up from the paint shop. Looks good. They told me that there are 16 variations in the yellow!
The door chip is gone. And they were able to get the underside of the fascia where I curbed it at the coffee shop. Last week I had a replacement FM module installed (under warranty) because my FM reception sucks. When the dealership pulled the head liner, they found that the antenna module has frayed wires (the culprit). Next week back to the dealer for a new antenna module. Fingers crossed, please. More to follow.... |
