ARGH...got my black 10 spokes today. Tires are 285/35/20 Michelin Pilot's. When I installed I found they hit the frt strut, and not a little either. I didnt tighten down much and it seems the wheel hits too...Anybody elsae have the same issue?? They hit hard enough you cant turn the wheel....was I suppose to get all 4 rear's ??? hate to sound stupid....

NinoSS, what part #'s did you order?? I know the front and rear are different but are you suppose to use 4 rear # so it clears the front?? been researching and dont see anyone else with the same issue

Dropspeed 04-05-2013 06:57 PM

To confirm, did you purchase 4 rears wheels? 20x11?

Fronts are 20x 10.

JimE 04-05-2013 06:57 PM

The fronts and rears are different. Assuming you have them on the right end of the car, I don't know why you would be having any trouble.

no, 2 front part #22798741 and rear #22798743

Mine are OEM's from a ZL1. Maybe your rears are on the front? There is no way a 20x10 +25 should rub on the front. The rears are a 20x11 +45, they would likely rub...

The pic in the OP looks like the 285 is streched (can't really tell). The 285 might be mounted on the rear wheel and placed on the front?

Well unless they were all boxed wrong...grabbing the tape measure now.

Hard to get a god pic. Is it true the 1LE uses all 4 same wheels?? if so it may be my issue. Maybe they do that to clear the front strut??

No... The 1LE uses the same set up as the ZL1 (the specs are in my post above) but with 285's all around...

SumWhite1LE 04-05-2013 07:13 PM

The 1LE uses 20x10's in the front, and 20x11's in the rear. Same size tire all the way around. Sounds like you have the rears on the front.
