Service Airbag Help!!!

So I haven't had my car for 2 months yet and under 2k miles and the service airbag came on. What is that? I tried to search the message and got some random stuff people say. Im assuming I have to go to the dealer but im just curious to if anyone knows what this is. Thanks in advance.

Make sure your passager seat is all the way Back. if it is pushed up from some one getting out the back will make the light come on.

push the button and find out. they can run a basic diagnosis on it but a trip to the dealer is in your future.

your probably going to have to go to the dealership. few people outside of them have the tools to diagnose issues outside the motor.
besides, could be a lot of different things. even a bad seat belt could do it.

At 26,000 miles on the clock, roughly I had a passenger airbag sensor go out. I took it to the dealer and had it replaced under warranty.

Hello Sedan2Camaro,

Terribly sorry you are experiencing this issue with your vehicle and I understand your concern. I would definitely recommend you taking the vehicle into a dealership for further diagnosis. I would be happy to help set that visit up for you. If you would like me to do so, please private message me your full name, number, address, VIN, current mileage and current dealer information. I set you up at your convenience.
