Old Camaro Transformer
Feeling nostalgic I dug out my box of few remaining Transformers toys. Unfortunately most of them are Generation 2 rather than Generation 1.
The one I though may be of mild interest here is 'Windbreaker'. He's a 3rd Gen Camaro. When he transforms into robot mode his engine becomes his gun. I took a few shots- http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...g?t=1198195119 http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...g?t=1198195147 http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j1...g?t=1198195177 As far as I know, this is the only Camaro Transformer there ever was before the new movie... |
That's pretty awesome. How many of these Transformers did you have?

Now that is a pretty cool Transformer!

Unfortunately, compared to the sheer amount of Transformers I had as a kid, not many at all. I had the misfortune of having a mother who feels anything not being used, or 'outgrown' should be thrown away. I've informed her more than once how much money she threw out with the garbage in the form of Transformers and Star Wars toys. What little I have left is mostly Generation 2 stuff. And that's not nearly as valuable as Generation 1. That Camaro pictured above is a Gen2 toy. All I have left of Gen1 are- Scorponok 4 Seacons (watching the final one on eBay now to complete that set) All 3 Insecticons (Shrapnel, Bombshell and Kickback) I probably had 50-75 Gen1 toys when I was younger. I still remember my first Transformer ever. Skywarp I didn't now anything about the cartoon or anything when I got him. Now I just buy the few I really liked, or REALLY wanted as a kid, off eBay every now and then. |
That's pretty cool. I had so many transformers when I was a kid. I'm still finding that my mom has kept things over the years and she'll break'em out for my boy. I'm like..."Where'd that come from!!!"
