Procharger F1-R

If anyone is looking to go with a Procharger F1-R, I can give you all the info you need on install and its capabilities. It is rated for 38psi and 1300hp capable. I am a huge fan of Procharger and their winning history is unmatched. My car was putting down 1000rwhp with the F1-R.

The hot new setup is the Procharger F1-X. Procharger recently re-rated it's lineup....

Ya know...great minds think alike. On Prochargers website the F2 is bigger and badder....according to the Procharger guys at PRI they are saying the F1 will outperform the F2. I might be inclined to agree.

If you go by inlet and outlet size...the X looks bigger and badder....but the cfm rating on the 2 is still showing as higher. Ron is at PRI and they are telling him the 1X is the top of the heap.

Better have one hell of a crank for a f3

HufferSS 12-02-2011 10:08 PM

Any of the F series are monsters.....but the F3 is too big for a street car....you would need a monster motor to take advantage of these...I would think.

I am going with either an F2 or an F1-x depending on what Ron comes back with from PRI and either one is simply ridiculous. I am going to have a 434 cubic inch engine and I am concerned that even that will be big enough.

jrpxxii 12-02-2011 10:10 PM

I am going to a F2 as the F1-R is too small for my motor is what we are being told by Procharger. The motor has too much base hp for the F1-R to build boost and they recommend the F2 for my application. HufferSS you go with the X and I will go with the F2 and we will see which one actually performs better.

It might end up that way....we'll have to see. Like I said...either are absolute animals and it's weird that the inlet on the F2 is smaller than the inlet on the X but it's rated for more power.

Hmmmmm.

I want one that has the loudest whistling sound

Hmmmmm.

Both will do stupid power for sure. Mine is being torn apart as we speak for the new mods and hopefully I can get some winter testing before Spring arrives.

I think we're both mental. :help: F2 is available right now.....F1X not until Feb. 1st.
