Signature Picture Issues

1 Attachment(s)
Why are the signature pics getting the bottoms trimmed off of them? I created a sig pic that meets the 200 pixel requirements but it still get the bottom cut off even thought it shows correctly in the signature preview.

Yeah its a pain in the butt and takes some readjusting to get used to. I think the 700x200 pixel size is if you had no text and only a custom image which is why your bottom of your signature is getting cut off. I would just make the image a tad smaller, which is what I did.

I tried 175 pixels tall and still no luck. Didn't even improve. Whats the size of yours?

The total size allowed (text + picture) is 200 pixels high. Anything after that gets cut off.

I suggest either keeping the text to a single line with a slightly reduced picture or integrating the text into the picture itself.

^try making your font smaller?

I think I got it.

Truthfully, the best advice I can give you guys is to drop your mod list from your image. You can make your picture clickable and have it take you to your build thread and would solve a lot of the issues when you make changes...

How do you make the pic clickable? I’m so new to this stuff...

Go to your journal, then copy the address bar with the link to your journal.

Then go to your [User CP] and click [Edit Signature] in the left column.

Highlight [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] in the text box.

Now, click the [Insert Link] icon (it looks like the globe with chain link in front of it) and paste your journal's web address. Then click [OK], and it should be set!

Additionally, if you have a link to a website with pics, you just want to use that link address..

You are welcome! It does work btw. This allows you to have a cool pic and still display all your info :)
