Junkman, first I wanted to thank you for your service, sir!

Second, I wanted to thank you for all this info!

My first ever brand new car, a 2013 Dusk SE 2SS convertible, arrived in the evening last night on an open transport. I was disheartened to see oil drips down the front and trunk, then found a few oil droplets on the convertible window, so while I originally thought I'd studiously read through and watch the vids as I have time, I'm now digging through everything to find what I need to procure ASAP to clean it today!!

Thanks again for all the info that us newbies need!

 Just realized what I did. I'd read your two bucket thread, then thanked this one instead. (Had skimmed this one too) I plead temporary insanity, given the filth all over my new Camaro at the time. Sorry for the OT, lol!

Been there and done that a few times.

You tell me. I work for myself so my schedule is flexible. Just be prepared to feed me. :D

Man after watching the first vid I would have considered it...but after all of them I feel like you could have taught a dog to do this lol. Awesome vids man. I appreciate you making them :headbang:. I ordered everything you mentioned except those darn zaino towels  sold out

I noticed you didn't "prime" the second pad. You just put 4 dabs on it and went at it unlike the first one where you put the 4 dabs on and did the quick pass...is there a reason for that?

Yes. M205 is a very light and very lucid product. It is not thick like M105 and thus, does not create any dust when properly buffing with it as will a much thicker polish. Since the spritzing of the pad is sometimes used to control dusting issues and to also keep the pad from becoming clogged with polish, you will sometimes use spritzing along with thicker polishes (or compounds as they are also called). Spritzing is NOT always necessary and you want to work in the most IDEAL situations so that you can avoid doing it at all.

I covered this in the video series. That gives you an ideal as to what else you may have missed by just watching these videos once. If you watch them again, you will see other things that you missed the first time through. There's so much information in these videos that you couldn't possible catch it all the first time through. This is very common, especially for novices to machine polishing.

As for the Zaino Borderless Blond towels. There are other Zaino distributors who actually have those towels in stock. I know of one distributor in Canada who does, and you should also check with LAZaino. This page shows distributors outside the USA. If you Google 'Zaino distributors" along with your state name, you will probably find one close to you.

Does the sealant/wax has to be applied right after polishing?

Well considering that the paint is now completely naked and unprotected, wouldn't it make sense to do so?
