Were those Mustangs 2010 0r 2011's or both sold. I know they were having a bunch of incentives on left over 2010's...at least around here they were...

TOO bad we couldnt beat the Mustang this month! But we came very very close to it even with their new engines coming out. Once the luster of the new Mustangs with the engines wears out we should be beating them again in sales soon.

GM might actually have to spend some money marketing the car. I see the mustang commercial all the time.

Same here it's like every other commercial. Most people don't know the V6 Camaro has more HP and an EPA rated 1 less MPG... If they did via a commercial all the time... they might reconsider.

I was talking to a guy the other day about my Camaro and he started bragging how the new Mustang gets over 30 mpg and has over 300hp. He said yeah they were the first American muscle to do it... I said nope sorry the 2010 Camaro has 312hp and gets an estimated 30... You should have seen the look on his face. I love peoples reaction when I tell them I get 25.2 mpg on long road trips in my SS. LOL

we have got to pick up the pace,..,being the 2lt and 2ss will now come standard with hud and hurst shifter for the m/t on these two models, sales will pick back up,g.m. knows that each year they will have to add something new to the car to keep interest high and steady..

I'm sure GM marketing team is coming up with something, and I bet it's going to be displaying the convertable and the new HP rating on the V6. :D Just my opinion.

Its interesting that ALL the car mags decided to compare the 2011 Mustang with the 2010 Camaro. Why didn't they wait to compare model years? Then they could have displayed the better HP numbers of the 2011 Camaro. (as well HUD...) Also, why is the web page taking soooooooooooooo long to get refreshed with 2011 features and pricing. Maybe they are waiting for dealerships to have available stock? I am in product marketing (not in the car industry) and that is a major faux pas. Web pages have to be updated and published at the exact time the product (especially when pricing is available) is available.

I checked out a 2011 Mustang GT that was on the lot here at the local Ford dealership, it stickered for $35,500, and they had a tag in the windshield selling it for $3000 off..or $32,500. Thought that was interesting.

Since when is the Hurst shifter standard on 2011 MT 2SS/2LT. I was under the impression it was always optional, but not standard. Thought HUD was the only addition to 2011 on those two trim levels... Did I miss something?

Probably very very few were 2010's. The dealers were doing fire sales on the 2010's for the first few months of the year to clear them out.

The majority of the Mustang sales would be 2011's.

Dont be so sure the Camaro will recapture the sales lead.
