Chevy Bowtie Emblem

Disclaimer: This isn't anti-chevy in any way. I love the camaro and am going to buy one.

I honestly just dont like the giant gold bowtie emblem in the grill. My 4th gen doesn't have them and I love how concise it is. As a matter of contrast, I've shooped out the emblems.

I'll let you be the judge.

to me, the back looks fine bare, but the front reminds me of what people would look like without a nose.

Without a gigantic nose. ;-)

Maybe it would fit more on a black one.

I actually plan on debadging it of all emblems except for the one bowtie on the rear.

I dont mind them I just wish they where a different color like a silver to match the regular badging or a red to match the RS

I think, proportionally, the bowtie on the 2010 is roughly the same size as the bowtie on the '69 grilles.

Black car or black bowtie? I think the red outlined black bowtie may look nice, but we'll have to see.

On certain colors it looks fine on others ehhh

As do I. I guess I just don't see how the 2010 Camaro's bowtie would be that big, especially in comparison to, say, the Cadillac emblem on an Escalade.

I've shared my thoughts on this a few months ago, I'm leaving the badging the way it is.I want anyone and everyone to know it's a Chevy. I'm proud of the brand (not that those that de-badge are not) and I want to make sure there's no mistake to any one that see it that the new Camaro is out on the prowl.

I am ok with the badging. I would have liked to see the front bowties on the SS replaced with an SS. But I didn't get the SS, Just think an SS would look better there on those models.

I hoping to find a polished or chrome set to replace the gold myself, gotta have the bowtie, but why does it have to be gold

camarolt76 03-24-2009 11:11 AM

I am fine with the bowtie on the front and the rear; however I am not crazy about the gold. My wife's 2005 Monte Carlo has a blue bowtie and it looks much better than the gold.

kanakattack 03-24-2009 11:14 AM

An SS in the front would look better in my opinion.
