lowering spring install in bay area

anyone know the best place for spring install/alignment in the bay area/San Jose. don't mind driving a bit if its cheap and reasonable, I Know the install is pretty simple alignment is what seems to be of mass importance. called a few places and are wanting 600-800 for install and alignment only which to me seems ridiculous when I hear everyone on c5 saying they paid 300-400 for install and aligment

Don't underestimate a good alignment shop. I recommend Custom Alignment.

Courtesy Chevrolet installed my Hotchkis track pack and brakes, I paid $800 for that so springs and alignment would have to be cheaper. Great job, no problems, gave me the same price as the speed shops without even knowing it. Ask for Dennis Lowe in service.

Borelli Motorsports in San Jose did a nice job on my suspension when I went there a few months back. They can take care of the alignment too. It's a little pricier than the other shops but their techs were very experienced.

Thanks for the advice, I called them they wanted 575 for install and 250 for labor.. A little over my price range for such a basic install I'm sure they do great work thou.

I appreciate your response, I live In an apt so I don't have anything I would need for the install, I do work in union city and would have a parking lot I could work in if I had access to tools.
