Meth kits

What are some of the better kits out there and why? The Alky kit looks awesome.

Alky Control hands down. Why? Because Stone Cold said so.

I see a lot of guys using Alky on this forum, but only this forum. Everywhere else I have customers using AEM, Snow Performance, or Aquamist. There's a lot of companies out there, just make sure to research them ALL to ensure you get the best kit.

I've used AEM, Snow Performance and Aquamist on a variety of different customer cars.

I will be using coolingmist. Other option was alky control.

One of the reasons Alky is so popular is that when you purchase it, it already comes with a built in fail safe. Other companies offer it, but as an added purchase. Meaning, you have to purchase it separately

What fail safes does it have? Your not referring to the LED lights are you?

I'm curious cause I might be going to a Alky as well

I have been interested but I was under the impression that there is no real "fail safes", the LED feature is really nice and will at least let you know it is working. It will indicate pump activation and change color when the pump reaches 100% speed. Problem is, this will still light-up if the pump fails!!

I'm not trying to sharp shoot you haha, but I might go Alky like I stated. I have been running devils own with a progressive controler and have been really happy. But from what I read Alky leads the way..

AEM's system is a bit more advanced. I know it's not a company most guys would think about going with on this forum since AEM is a company that is more related towards JDM cars, but nonetheless, the system works, and it works VERY well:

I'm not going to copy and paste everything from AEM in regards to their failsafe, mainly because it's about 10 paragraph's long with pictures, more data and so forth, but it's absolutely worth the read if you're serious about Water/Meth injection:

AEM flow guage is awesome, if it works, like it shows and says it will. That's honestly the best fail safe I can see for methanol, but I'm yet to see one in action in person.

With all the companies that I've worked with in the past, all the kits that I've sold for Meth, AEM is the only one I'd consider on my car, unless of course a company comes out with new hot product that proves itself to be better. I think a lot of guys on this forum just don't consider it because the name.

Will AEM's system support 100% meth? Or anything over 50/50 for that matter?

No, the LED's are just a way to read how much meth is being pumped, at least one LED. The other just tells me when I'm running low. My meth is activated by boost, and it's tuned to activate only so much meth. If for some reason I'm driving and I run out, the car will fall flat on it's face. Not in the sense you might be thinking though. If I run out, the car will only run as if it's in "limp" mode only allowing me to rev the car so much and go only so fast.
