Best Time to race your v6 Camaro?

When would be the best time to race my v6 a6 Camaro on the track for the best 1/4 mile times? I live in swfl where humidity and da/temp is a huge problem.

V8's running 14.5s (must have had some serious traction issues). With yesterday's conditions, stock V8s should have been in the low 13s.

humidity was almost 100%, DA was well over 2000 and it was 90 + out.

Yea I know one guys was having traction issues. Once it starts cooling down more the times will come down. One guy who ran his v8 in 14s has run high 12s in cooler weather

my car runs 13.3-13.6 and low 12's on NOS and i keep up with the SS but i was running 14's then..

Post up some of those time slips

SWFL is actually a great place to be this time of year.
Temperatures and humidity have come down significantly compared to summer.

From Nov. - April conditions are quite good. Being at close to sea level, the DA is usually very good once the temps drop below 80 degrees.

Later this week, high temps are supposed to be in the 70s with lows in the 50s. That's perfect for racing. I wish I could go the track, but I just had surgery on Friday.

Man, I was used to having that -2500 DA weather now up at ATCO, not hoping for lower than +500 down here haha. Well there are huge advantages to moving down here, we can drag race in January!

I can cheat and do the 1/4 mile on my dyno here, so tire slip does not come into play :)

You'll definately get days with DA's lower than +500 ft. But the DA rarely gets much lower than - 500ft to - 1000 ft.

If the weather gets too cold (which ATCO guys would laugh at), the track usually won't even open (closed due to harsh weather conditons).

But you should get some nice sunny days with temps in the 60s (DA - 500 ft or so).
