I've been waiting for this comparison, and I had a feeling the 1LE would edge out the GT w/ PP....I was right!

Both amazing cars, but the 1LE is a beast!!

If the 6th gen 1LE beats this, it will be incredible.

On one of the Ford forums, someone said it was unfair to compare a new platform to one that has been around for a while and refined. Some unhappy campers over there...

Edge out? It puppy kicked it. 2 seconds is a life time around the track. And for the Mustang being faster in the 1/4 by 1.5mph it certainly couldn't put the power down on corner exit to come within 3mph on the straights against the 1LE. Since Ford screwed the pooch in the performance sector this time, I really hope Chevy doesn't go easy on the new Camaro and makes it even better than the current gen.

I was just saying I had only assumed it would edge it out...not beat it decisively.

The heavier 1LE beat out the S197 and the S550 5.0 GTs... :peace:

If you guys recall... the 2013 5.0 GT with Track Pack ran on the same track @ 1:25:77.

In both Head to Heads the 1LE finished with almost the same times... 1:22:70 before and 1:22:81 now. :D

Sorry, didn't see this thread before I posted the other. I agree with the making excuses comments btw. Looks like i'll just be driving the car on the losing end of the performance aspect stock for stock. Whatever.
