Lowering Springs
What brands do you guys recommend? Will these affect the 1LE handling in a negative way? 1" to 1.5" lowering?
I'm not going to pony up for coil overs. |
I went with BMR 1.4" springs. Should be going on this week. It definitely won't make any negative differences. The ride may be more stiff... But who cares? Lol!
|
Apex took over Pfadt's springs and have them on their website under the Apex name now, if that appeals to you
|
Get pfadt springs. Under the Apex name like mentioned above.
They're 1.25" all around. http://www.apex-speed.com/apex-motor...g-springs.html |
I went with Pfadt and I have zero complaints. The look is perfect.
|
What are the Apex provided spring rates front and rear?

Do any of you guys know anything about 'Ground Force' lowering springs? I know a 1LE owner installed some recently and his initial reaction and review was very positive. All I know is it was a 1" drop all around. Prior to his post in 1LE facebook group, I hadn't even heard of Ground Force. Apparent they won 2011 SEMA product award.
|
I've heard BMR 1" springs with good results.
|
thought the springs that got apex were all 1.4".............
i would go for 1 to 1.25. not more. |
I went with the Pedders Sport Ryder Springs 220032/220033 and am very happy with appearance and ride. I even did the 'wife' test, took her for a ride without her knowing what changes had been made. She said it feels like it did before, did you change anything?
I also added the pedders permagrin kit. Yes, it does give you permagrīn. |
