D1SC power number guess

Hi guys, I'm currently waiting on a D1 for my build I recently had a 2.8L Kenne Bell but I sold it.

With a built 416 stroker (factory block, eagle kit + JRE blower cam, L99 to LS3 conversion kit, ARP hardware, ect) and all the supporting mods needed...Anywho, through a A6 what power numbers should I see running boost levels around 12psi? Could I push the motor past that?

I'm just anxious to find out but the wait is killing me, parts need to show up NAO!!

Is your trans still stock?

What fuel system? What's in the eagle kit?

I would say at 12 psi you'll be close to 650 rwhp. A6 sucks some rwhp up.

No trans will be built, looking at the LPE fuel system.

As for the kit I believe its eagle crank, H-beam rods, and I think Pistons are from them as well. I can't remember all the details since the shop I'm going through is taking care of everything. Also getting a fast intake manifold, heads are ported, 1000cc injectors, meth injection, and I'm going with the 12 rib pulley setup with their upgraded intercooler and such.

I'd crank the boost up to 15/16 psi if that blower is decently efficient at the level. Seems like the super charger will be the limiting factor. All the other parts are good to go.

Just keep in mind that the LPE duals are good to about 800 rwhp or so.

What other fuel system would you recommend? I would really like to break into the 700rwhp range but I think 800rwhp+ would be too much for me right now lol

If your staying between the 7-800 rwhp get the LPE duals. I've had it for three years now and it's been flawless. No problems what so ever.

Above 800 seems like the Squash is the ticket. I haven't explored those options because my car would be to fast with 800 rwhp!! It only makes 732 now.:frown:

I think if you go over 700hp I can drive it till your ready - I am only 30 miles away.

Yeah I'll stick with the LPE, should suit me good enough! :)

12 psi should see close to 700 but the auto is gonna eat a good bit of power plus on a 416 you should have a F1 series Procharger to get the best out of your setup.

Have you bought the blower yet? If it was me I would skip to a F-1R. A D1 will be limited to about 750-maybe 800ish on that setup and while that might be too much now you'll grow in to it. A upgrade now is a lot cheaper than a upgrade later.

Agree 100%

I'm doing OK on the stock bottom end with a D1SC. :)

If I were doing it now, I'd be looking at the new i1 from ProCharger.
