Matte Wrap and Outdoors
 

Thinking of doin a possible matte wrap but i dont hve a garage and the car would see rain and lots of weather.....

what could i do to preserve the wrap or is wrapping without a garage not smart......

Hey dude I am doing it and I live in florida with harsh weather and crazy storms that come from no where!!! I am getting a outdoor cover for my car though that would really help preserve the wrap I heard!

Call the local wrap shop. I'm not sure how outdoor weather can effect it.
If anything get a car cover. You won't have to worry about scratches since its matter

Come to think of it, maybe water marks can stain the vinyl and bird crap could damage it.

I've got my hood wrapped and it can be a pain in the butt sometimes. It rained and then the sun came out and baked it last week, and it was looking pretty rough. Cleaned it really well, and took some Adam's Brilliant glaze to it, and the water spots vanished. It's hard to get an even coat without their machine pad (at least for me). I hit it with some detail spray and wiped it down a few times with minimal change. After a couple days it evened out on its own. Looks good as new now.

Save the vinyl at the expense of your paint? No thanks.

I wrapped my hood because it wasn't painted, I didn't want to put a fresh coat of paint on it before a 2k mile drive, and the wrap was free through a hook up. The wrap is temporary for me. I wouldn't wrap the whole car personally, but I've seen a lot of them look really nice. From what I understand though, (and I could be wrong) for the price of wrapping a car, you could paint it, so I guess it's a personal preference thing.
