Love my car! 13899

So after a night with it i have decided I definitely love it... I tried not to love it, I swore after my GN got stolen I'd never "love" a car again but I love it. Maybe because its truly mine, from order to build to delivery, its been mine from day 1.

Love the interior, its way nicer than even my 2000 Vette, best interior Ive seen in a GM car this side of a Cadillac..... My dealer experience was great, my salesman was as excited as me about it!

The only issues came when GM shipped the wrong stripes, and didnt send my engine cover, so minor I really don't care, it can be fixed easily. I also noticed a couple issues that others here have seen, my drivers doorpanel is a bit high, needs to be adjusted lower, and I have that bulge problem with the rocker on the passenger side. Again minor issues that I don't really care about because when I bring it back to get the stripes it will be fixed. Weights are on the front brakes, you really gotta look for them to see em. WHO CARES?

Overall I am beyond satisfied with my ride, and I hope that everyone here is as well, it was SO worth the wait (as much as I visibly bitched and complained here), its just the hottest thing on the road.

I picked it up in the monsoon yesterday and just drove it... Obviously Id like to cruise a bit but its just not as fun when its so wet you can't get on it. Today is sunny so I'm gonna cruise tonight!

Congrats on the ride Rogue.

Thanks!!

Dont get me wrong the Vette is really nice.. it helps that this is a 10 year newer car, but the Camaro is definitely tighter in terms of fit of all the pieces together, and it seems they designed it better to eliminate certain things that break off easily (the cover over the interior air temp sensor, the covers over the screws holding the doors together, etc that ALL broke on my C5).

 Congrats and enjoy!!! :D...good to see another Long Islander getting their car...i have not seen any except mine yet, it will be cool to see another on the road...

:( unfortunately, it's rained here ever since i got my car too...15 out of the last 18 days, according to the news last night...and Seattle, which is supposed to be the "rain capital" has had 30 sunny days in a row!!!...i guess we got all their rain...

:) we have a 'Vette too and i agree with you about the Camaro...however, our 'Vette is a '95, so i'm sure all cars have vastly improved since then...

I just think this new Camaro is the GREATEST CAR EVER BUILT!!!...:happyanim:

I started a Long Island Camaro group on the forum...you should join, there are a bunch of us out there and maybe we can have a "LI Car Meet" sometime over the summer...

I'd love to but that is when I'm getting my 24 Hours of Lemons Race car back from the cage builder, we have to finish all the prep on it for the event!

I wish I could go, get my car signed by the man himself!

PS Sorry Scott Paul wasn't there yesterday but I will be back for my stripes and stuff next week so maybe I'll see him then.
