dealers keeping 20's when 21's ordered?

I went by a dealer that had two Camaros on the lot with the 21 inch wheel option, they said you do not keep the 20's, the 21's are the wheels you get. I think that is probably bullsh*t and they are just gonna keep the wheels to sell to someone else or sell on ebay? Anybody else see this going on?

You definitely get to keep the wheels. Everyone else who ordered the 21's also gets the 20's. The dealer thinks they can make the extra cash off you by keeping the wheels and selling 'em.

Ask for them they are yours and you paid for them and don't let them tell you otherwise. If you didn't purchase the 21's was the car gonna come without wheels I think not.

You get to keep the wheels UNLESS it was specified in the sales agreement. Otherwise they are opening the door to legal action.

If YOU order the car...and if YOU order the 21's, the 20's ARE YOUR wheels. If a dealer orders a car and puts it out on the lot for sale saying THIS is what you get (minus the wheels), then that is an agreement between you AND the dealer. Then they are in no trouble.

However, ....if a dealer tries to keep your wheels?....oh yeah....they going to be in for a MAJOR suit.

You get to keep the 20s. I helped a friend load his up and take them home as the 21s were being put on. You would think if these dealers wanted customers to come back they would treat people better.

a few months back when i ordered my car and i was telling my dealer i wanted the 21" wheels he was telling me that the car comes with the factory 20" rims and the 21" are shipped separate and when they put the 21" wheels on they ship the stock 20" rims back. surely my dealer isn't screwing me over because my family has done business with him for years and when we are in town we always hang out.

We dont want them laying around taking up space and encourage all of our customers to take them.

Does this also apply to getting the V6 with the Rs package (which upgrades to 20" wheels instead of the 19's that come on the basic V6????

Just wondering....
