2010 Hot Rod Power Tour?

Anyone planning on entering their new Camaro in the 2010 Hot Rod Power Tour?

MerlinZero 04-07-2009 02:35 PM

What is this?

I am thinking about riding my 68 in it. I did a day of it a few years back in my 69, it is a blast.

If I have it (order to be pulled this week), I will be there. It would be a good way to do break in miles anyway. If the Camaro doesn't make it, I will be in the Wagon...

I personaly won't be ready until 2010. I haven't ordered my camaro yet. If any of you make it this year, great! Let us know how it goes.

Go to , http://www.hotrod.com/2009powertour/index.html it is a cross county trip with cool cars, some are old some are new. Every night they have a car show. Hundreds of cars. It used to go from the west coast to the east coast, now it starts where ever it ended the year before. This year it starts in Madison Wisconsin and ends in Bristol Tennessee at the Bristol Motor Speedway. So do it for the day and some go the whole way, either way it is a blast.

Only the biggest car show in the world!! I believe 2005 was the year I went on it with my buddy!! Imagine a huge car show that starts one place and makes a diff stop everynight and everybody travels together. when you go through small towns there is a police escort. We met up with everybody in spring field, mo and drove up to STL. On that trip it wasnt 100's it was 1000's some where around 1700 cars I believe!!!! AWESOME time!!!:headbang::headbang::headbang:

I won't be able to go on the full tour, but they will be making a stop at the GM Tech Center in Warren, MI on June 9th. I will attend the festivities there, hopefully with the Chevelle and my new Camaro!

I'll be there as well, swing by the Detroit Muscle display and ask for Joe

OMG....I did'nt realize it was going to be in such a geographic location as to be perfect for those of us living in the Detroit metropolitan area. Thank you very much. I was going to see a friend in Madison anyway in June, so this would be perfect. I will definately go if my car comes in on time. I've heard for years what a great event it is.

MerlinZero 04-08-2009 09:33 AM
