how does the car control the exhaust mode since it didn;t come with bimodal from the factory?
|

The car does not control it. With the NPP in a box kit we have available you control it loud or quite via a remote as seen in the second video (post 45) |
if anyone is going to the GM nationals and would like me to bring something please email me at patrick@gmpartshouse.com

I need some education here.
so the npp in a box routes from the engine to the exhaust and would control the bi modal setting as would a zl1 based on how hard you are pushing the car. the nap includes the m2w system so you can override it with a controller. but, if you don't want to use the controller, the bimodal would still switch on its own based on what it was getting from the npp tube running from the ls3. do i understand the npp system correctly? what if i buy this system without the NPP. can i manually set the system with my hands before i start the car and it will stay there the entire ride? or does it just flop around? |

Thanks Patrick. Why does the npp get routed to the engine if it is not getting input on what to do? Is that supplying the oomph to push the valves? I guess I thoUght they were electronic servos.

Ok. Thanks. I wasn't quite clear on how all this works.

Now that the 2013 SS with NPP is arriving at dealers, is there a part number for the rear diffuser?

Whats the price difference on this catback and the one on the 2013 2SS with the LS3. I have that dual mode on my 13 and I think the only difference is the tips.. Also how much is the 2013 SS diffuser for the dual tips.
