My new Magnaflow

Got my Magnaflow mufflers and Tru-X that I got from Jordan at JDP Motorsports installed today. They're still pretty quiet, maybe just a small step up from the stock exhaust. Hopefully as they break in they will get louder.

Sorry for the way the video looks, I recorded it with a Flip and had to rotate it in iMovie.

Sweet! That's what I was hoping for!

There is absolutely NO drone in the system that I can hear. It basically sounds like the OE exhaust while cruising, but it has a little rumble to it when you get on it.

Jordan at JDP Motorsports is the man to talk to for Magnaflow stuff. I have right around $350 in the mufflers, Tru-x, tips, and install.

2010 SSRS 11-13-2010 10:24 PM

sounds great

H1Chester 11-13-2010 10:29 PM

eh, not loud enough for me...

mikeSS 11-14-2010 01:14 AM

if you need it louder then you need a new setup, or headers or something... the "breaking in " is over rated

caverman 11-14-2010 08:23 AM

Headers will defineately help out in the sound dept as well as performance.

It may just be me, but it already sounds better. It seems to have a throatier sound than it did at first. It sounds dang near perfect!

NICE! I think it sounds great and it does break in over the course of about 1000-1500 miles. I'm glad you got everything installed and again I think it sounds great! :chevy:

Kind regards,

Jordan

Thanks Jordan!

I think my problem with them at first was that I was coming from a Flowmaster setup on my previous car, and it was LOUD and droned like CRAZY. I guess where this one doesn't drone it was throwing me off.

The Magnaflow really does sound awesome!
