Spray Gun Recommendations

Guys,
I'm looking for a Paint gun to use for casual touch-up and the occasional panel painting. I've not been keeping pace on the technology here. The last gun I bought was a long time ago.
These gravity feed guns seem to be the new way, I'd like to know if I should go this way or that.
I've been doing some touch up with the air brush, but I need a better gun for larger objects.

So,
Are the any recommendations on the type and models that I should look at?

Thanks,
Dave

Dave, I'm no where near an expert, but IMO it really just depends on home much work you plan on doing with it. If this is something you're going to use a few times a week then I'd look at getting a very good quality gun. Maybe a SATA or the like. But if this is something that your going to use occasionally you might want to go with a knockoff gun. I use mine a few times a year and couldn't justify the cost of a SATA. I got a kit from spraygunworld.com a few years back and the guns that came in the kit work great. A buddy of mine who is a pro painter, painted with my gun and said it was decent for what I paid for it.

I have been painting cars in my business for almost 25 years, and all of my spray equipment is made by SATA.
