Which Hawk pads for a DD?

I was just about to pull the trigger on ordering my Pads and Hoses for my CTS-V/ZL1 brake upgrade for my '13 1LE and stopped when I saw the Ceramics.

I was set on the HPS pads then saw the HPC pads. It's a Daily Driver and IDK which is my best option. I've been running Raybestos Prostop ceramics on my other cars for years and love them. This is my first time doing anything brake related on the 1LE and I'm not sure which way to go.

So what do you guys say?

I just ordered the HPS and have been told by my local autosport High Performance for track store that the HPS will last longer, not squeal and have much better performance than stock based upon their experience with other pads they have used.

HP + for the rack and HPS for the street.

I've been doing a BUNCH of research and pretty much came to the conclusion you guys are telling me. Thanks alot.

The ceramics perform about the same as stock with almost zero dust. The HPS perform considerably better than stock and dust less than stock. They are a good street performance pad.

I want no or low dust so I bought the ceramics. Can't drive like 10miles to a car show without dust all over the wheels.

I bough the ceramics...and started to squeal a short time later - like many others. they work well though and I don't mind it too much

If you do any sort of aggressive driving, go for the HPS. The Ceramics are good for an easy daily driver or show car, but they do not hold up very to abuse or excess heat. HPS would be my choice knowing what you do with the car.

Hawk ceramics suck. Put them on my car and they squeal like a pig even after bedding them. Will be switching them out for something else
