Have you ever been at school or at the auto shop or just at the market and you here a really loud annoying noise similar to a noise a blender would make and assume it must be going at a high speed but its actually a 1992 hatchback civic that has a 18 inch tall wing,a 4 inch muffler, and a body kit with 4 HUGE holes in the front and the bodykit is wider than the car. geeze they really annoyings the heck outta me!!!!!

What annoys you about ricers???? Feel free to hate :thumbup:

for me its the way the think they are the best.
they may beat me off the line for a sec, but my top speed kills theirs.
i raced one once, took me 1.8 sec to catch him, and at the end of 15.8 sec, i was 2.7 sec ahead.

hey, easy now. my car makes a lot of noise when im only doin 20... but thats thanks to a 3700 stall converter...lol :thumbup:

My favorites are the ones that are driving automatics but act like they're driving manuals at lights. They go into neutral to roll back, but the shift into drive is a dead giveaway when they pull out. They're always revving and the car gets into drive finally, making the car stop revving and start revving again. It sounds like an angry gerbil.

yeh i know that feeling, i see a riced out Ford Escort and a Geo Storm just about everyday during lunch and every time i see one of them i ask a truck to go run 'em over(jokingly at first but now...), such a loud annoying noise from such a small car going like 5 MPH just doesn't make sense

and it also doesn't make sense that they try to be like the ricers in movies like The Fast and the Furious but
A: they don't sit as low
B: the rims aren't as big
C: they don't have mufflers the size of a Folgers can
D: they have fairly good picked out Body Kits
F: so on and so forth...

Have you noticed the stickers on ricers? For some reason, there are more Audiobahn window stickers than Comp Cams or DC Sports stickers. I find it amazing that the need to show off their mediocre audio equipment when I don't feel the need to advertise my high-end stuff. On the other hand, no one would rob a car of its Xplode speakers. Car crooks are looking for the JL stuff, so it's like a security system for the driver.

And to clarify:

A ricer is an idiot who makes visual changes to his car, typically a front wheel drive import (but not always), and makes minimal performace upgrades.

A tuner is someone who improves performance and makes body modifications that will help the car when it gets taken to a track.

Make fun of ricers, respect tuners.

Very true! tuners are todays hotrodders, ricers are annoying little punks that should be wiped from the face of the earth! Now, where's my Camaro so I can burn some rice...:chevy:

What about JL being overpriced, i mean....Yeah...all those ricers with speaker equipment and then advertising it...no wonder they ALL get robbed.
