2010 SSRS 09-15-2010 09:22 PM

Awesome IROC, I love 3rd gens, my 88 IROC is fully restored and it has a ZZ502.

Supercamaro64 09-15-2010 09:50 PM

dude, that thing looks amazing, nice job. im guessing those "camaro" logos on the interior are custom made??

Badman 09-16-2010 10:01 AM

Intake is a TPIS MiniRam.As for interior,it is the factory "Contour" style. An option for a few years. The material can still be bought on Ebay.

Hylton 09-16-2010 10:53 AM

Nice car! How did you manage to find one with a drivers seat in such good shape? Awesome and congrats!

I bought it new and took care of it. Side panels on seats have been replaced, center material is OEM.

scythezo6 09-16-2010 02:37 PM

Awesome car. I want it!

Badman, great job taking care of your IROC, especially considering the '85s didn't have the basecoat clearcoat system.

I had a black '85 IROC that I bought when it was a year old and the paint was already faded. I would wax it and it would look great for about a month, then it would start to look dull again.

When I sold my '87 IROC that i had special ordered- in 2006 with 206,000 miles on it, it did definitely not look like yours does.

AZCamaroFan 09-26-2010 05:01 PM

Gorgeous IROC-Z! Thanks for sharing! can't wait to hear more about it.

WMCC Doug 09-28-2010 12:03 AM

Badman:

Nice '85 IROC-Z! I am an original owner of an '85 IROC-Z as well. I ordered it in January and took delivery in May of 1985. It's a white hardtop, TPI/auto with 4 wheel discs and most every other option. She now got about 47,000 miles on the clock. I have the Conteur interior as well. It's nice to see another example since they are so rare.

Take care of it.

I did the a 355 in mine. but mines a race car

Stl_Camaro 10-02-2010 03:16 PM

Thats an AWESOME car. The only thing I don't like about it is that I didn't see a for sale sign in the window, lol. :D

Rebuilt the 10-bolt using all new seals and bearings. OEM 3.42 ring and pinion,Moser axles,C-clip eliminator, and rebuilt the PBR brakes. Should be OK for the RWHP to the ground, approx. 375-400.If not,a Moser 12-bolt or 9 inch will be installed.

Very Nice Black Iroc ~

drknow90rs 05-28-2011 01:35 AM

Nice! My '86 IROC only has 52,000 miles, but it was a police car and was never garaged, so the original yellow (RPO 51U) is very faded.

camarosource 08-13-2011 04:21 AM

WOW! That looks incredible!!

Camaroirocz 10-18-2011 08:36 PM

Damn, that's a NICE car. I love the engine set-up you'll be running. Awesome!
