He is 1 Bad SS

Thought it would be fun to document the changes over time. He started life as a 1SS. Here he is at Classic Chevy in Texas. Special thanks to Eric Hall at Classic.

Had Eric install the Heritage Grill. I love the difference.

More pictures to come. I already put Pdaft lowering springs on him too.

I like the look of the heritage grille with the halogen (non RS) lights. :w00t:

Good looking Camaro. What did it cost to have the springs installed? Thanks!

Mojave 04-15-2010 08:29 AM

Buddy of mine did it so he did not charge me much. Only around a $100. It was not a big deal ,but did have to remove the rear brakes for easier access.

They are well worth it ! The car looks better and handles better with the Pfadts.

Any new MODs?

Mojave 04-20-2010 02:52 PM

Hi guiLT

I have a few in hand but have not had a chance to put them on yet. Trying to figure out which exhaust I want to get also. Pre-ordered the Droid Incredible ,but that does not count. LOL

I have a Black 2SS with the Ground Effects, do you guys think I'd have issues with road and speed bump clearence if I lowered it with these springs?

Looks awesome

Let me look at mine tonight and I can give you a better idea. I will measure it. I think that some driveways might be an issue with GFX ,but doubt normal driving would be an issue.

How about speed bumps?

Mojave 04-20-2010 04:40 PM

Could be issue also. I will measure when I get home ,but the drop is 1 1/2 inches I believe if that helps.

Mojave 04-20-2010 05:53 PM

OK, my car is 7 inches off the ground and my wife's Vette is 6 inches off the ground. I scape a little coming into our driveway (which is pretty flat) and none back out. The Vette scrapes both ways. But it is only the plastic underneath.
