on the chevy website.... for a 2ss the stock wheels are called painted aluminum and the upgrade is polished aluminum... what is the difference here and how are they different from the midnight silver with the RS package??

The polished aluminum are the same as the painted silver, just polished instead of painted.

oh ok but does anyone have pics on the car of the difference

you can really tell the painted aluminum up close...looks like crap, imo

I have polished aluminum Wheels. They are shinier than the painted ones, however after driving or a few days you cant tell the diff beteewn them.

go with the midnight silver

The non-RS comes with silver painted aluminum wheels; the RS comes with midnight silver paint - the wheels are the same, just painted a different color.

The polished wheels are an upgrade... they are the same wheels, but polished smooth rather than painted. And they do look nice when clean.
