You could debate that to the end of time but BMR and Pfadt both make a great set. Both are much stronger than stock. The Pfadt set weighs a little less but costs a little more. If you go with BMR make sure to pick up the outer trailing arm bushings as well. They are a separate item. If you have any questions feel free to hit me up.

Pfadt BMR and Spohn are all great choices. Personally, I think the Pfadt trailing arm and toe rod package is is a great value. Feel free to call, PM or email me with questions.

Is your 5th Gen a dedicated drag car or street driven weekend warrior?

The quality and engineering of the Pfadt rear arms are second to none.

I will say that our BMR trailing arms with spherical bearings (TCA027) and rod ends (TCA033) are going to be stronger than any trailing arm with poly-urethane bushings. With any trailing arm that utilizes poly-urethane bushings the bushings will be the weak point of the arm itself. If you are looking for the strongest trailing arm possible I would put our BMR trailing arm with the spherical bearings against anything out there.

They do look beefy, are they made of Cromemoly?

I missed this. Just a weekend warrior, I have had it since May and only have 1400 miles on it.

They are actually made of a boxed mild steel. If you are looking for something a little lighter and plenty strong enough to handle anything you are going to throw at it I would look at our BMR trailing arms with the rod ends (TCA033) which are made out of DOM mild steel.

Do your plans include significant RWHP increases or is your goal the best possible launch with OEM power?

I made 490 RWHP with a cam, heads, LT, and usual bolt on goodies. I just added a ECS kit and meth. I am looking @ 700 or so. I should know by the weekend how much power it makes.

With that a mount of power a good set of trailing arms (and more) will definitely be needed to help you get the power to the ground.

It is crazy the amount power these cars make on a regular basis, I remember back about 10 years ago when 500hp was a lot of power.

Is anyone making LCAs for the newer style suspensions
