yeah, now what you mean on the custom parts. My brother in law has the HPFP with the rebuild kit on his MS3 and it works. Unfortunately he has to get a new one ever 6 months or so. They seem to fail a lot if you use meth. May be worth a try and see if they can do one for your pump. I tried but they were back logged at the time and I got tired of waiting.

We decided to just replace with new stock ones. I'm running pretty low compression now and we are just going to take a chance. (famous last words, huh?)

Wish I was close. this would more than likely be better than doing a cam or hpfp. Somebody close needs to step up.

The stock head bolts should be fine, with all the carnage on the last setup, we had absolutely no signs of lifting a head! And those little efrs are maxxxxxed out at about 23 psi.

Still say its time for some NAAAWWWS Derrick!!!

Ha! We'll see next year.

Did you get my VM?

GretchenGotGrowl 08-09-2013 08:49 AM

Oh well, new release from HP Tuners doesn't appear to have any new tables for the E39 ECU, so I guess we have to wait for EFILive's release to solve the throttle issue.

Hiya Gretchen!! Just wanted to stop in and check the progress on your beastly ride! Hope everything is going well

Haven't spoken to them much the last few weeks (work is keeping me busy). It should be getting the roll cage this week and hopefully next week we can get it on the dyno.

Gretchen,
What plugs do you use? Autolite XP5263? Hearing a lot about Brisk plugs??, any information you could give would be very thankful.
