I just took delivery on #429 today in southeast Missouri!! Red, Manual, CF Hood Insert, Sunroof. Went to the drag strip with it tonight and had everyone drooling over her. No, I didn't run it, but was asked to 1000 times! Lol. It is a totally amazing car!!! Thanks GM! I am one of the lucky ones to own a ZL1.

#230 is home. Drove it back to Houston from Dallas this evening. Got the call this morning and got up there as quick as I could. I know, no pic's. It's red, black CF hood and standard black wheels. Most amazing car ever. I will post pic's later. Those of you waiting, like Fbodfather said, it is well worth the wait. One amazing car. Thanks to all of those that had a hand in developing and building the car. It is a masterpiece!!!!!!

There's a thread that's been posted concerning a CRT colored ZL1 and pics shows a really good close up of exposed carbon fiber hood. As far as more of the painted carbon fiber hoods turning up at this time. Well early on the exposed carbon fiber hood was on constraint, and only a small number were made in the first wave of allocations. The cars which are now be made will see alot more of the exposed hoods due to fact it's now the painted fiber hood is on constraint. |
I don't believe that any of the cars with the exposed CF insert and grey stripes have shipped yet. Fbodfather posted the other day that they were still working on the stripe. I have an order with the exposed and the stripe and my dealer expects delivery to be April 27.

I want to congratulate every one who has taken delivery of there ZL1, and also to everybody who is just waiting for delivery. These cars look absolutely amzing looking. I most likely will never be able to own such a beautiful piece of machinery. However I do ask that if I get the chance to me any of you at shows that I get the opportunity to sit in the passenger seat. CONGRATS Everybody
