The 1LEs are a mono tube and the rubber in the upper mount is a harder durometer than the SS mounts.

Is there any confirmation that the zl1 motor / trans mount, 20952437 / 20952439 are different than what the 1le has? Also, I'm guessing if so the zl1's are stiffer? Tried researching a definite answer, but no luck. Thanks.

I have a question concerning the rear shock absorbers:

What is the difference between part number 22812987 ($333.65 through GMPD) and part number 231115372 ($207.60 through GMPD)? The description for the latter specifically indicates "w/ FE6 suspension."

I'm officially confused.

There is an earlier post in this thread that 23115372 is the new part no as of 2014. I just installed this shock on my 2013 no issues. If you are converting from standard SS FE4 to 1LE FE6 you will also need the top shock mounts (22922445 and 22922446) and bumpers (22942947 x2).

The difference in part numbers for the shock may also be due to 23115372 being JUST the shock. No other parts are included (no dust cover, bumper bushings, nut, etc).

Ok ,so that's the new part number for the rear shocks for the My 2014 1Le ?? I'm doing 1.25" lowering springs . I already changed the fronts struts about 4000 miles ago . And my car is coming up on 47k so why not change them out too ..

I have a 2011 SS and there's more play in the front shocks then there should. Could someone guide me in the right direction as to what parts I need?

Part number / description correction

Just wanted to see if we can get these part numbers corrected in the original post.

Front Strut (1LE) (passenger side) - 22812984
Front Strut (1LE) (drivers side) - 22812985

The numbers are good but the sides are incorrect. 22812984 is actually the drivers side. Ask me how I know :bonk:

Can anyone confirm the part #’s for the front struts ?? I found what I believe is a new number for replacement struts !! 22922603 right & 22922602 left ??
Thanks

ok -great thread here. I have a 2014 SS Vert and think I am due for struts all around next spring - so starting to do my homework. has anyone upgraded their vert to 1LE? I have been reading this thread - but skipped from 2012 (around page 3) to the end, and looking on line at GM wholesale sites have gotten some different info. here is what I think I need:

Front Strut (1LE) (passenger side) (1) 22812985 Front Strut (1LE) (drivers side) (1) 22812984 Rear Shock Mount (1LE) (passenger side upper) (1) 22922446 Rear Shock Mount (1LE) (driver side upper) (1) 22922445 Rear Shocks (1LE) (2) 22812987 or Rear Shocks (1LE) (2) 19300042

any help is appreciated

I’d do the Bilstien B-6’s from Summit.

As long as this thread has been around and no one has gone to the OP and corrected the incorrect numbers of the Driver's side / Passenger side struts? WTF?

THEY ARE FLIPPED!!!!

That cost me about $100! Thanks

Sorry to bring up an old thread. Just purchased a 2015 1LE and mechanic showed where passenger rear shock was leaking so looking for OEM replacement. I see the number changed but it says discontinued. Any idea of where to get replacement OEM rear shocks? Ones I see on rock auto all say w/o performance package so not sure if that applies to the 1LE or not. Thanks for the insight.
