LOUDMOUTH2 gets my money. All 3 are good but I prefer the deeper tone, thanks for posting.

vladkgb 05-11-2009 05:30 PM

meh. gotta hear borla/corsa

lakersftbl69 05-11-2009 05:36 PM

are these the type of exhaust gmpp will be offering

TLSTWIN 05-11-2009 05:48 PM

Wow, I love to see the differents tastes. I actually like the sound of 1 and 3. I don't which I like better, tought to tell on a computer with surround sound though.

I am leaning toward 3, I don't like the raspy ping of the first one as much. The 3 is just deep and loud, the 2nd one is too quiet:rolleyes:

listening to it again, it might just be the recording making that noise in the first one.

I'm with ya there. I've always liked the sound of Corsa. Here's a nice sounding G8GT with Corsa.

The Loudmouth 1s are great...nice loud tone, albeit higher pitched. The LM2s are a bit too quiet for me, but I like the deep tone.

salphonso 05-12-2009 10:12 AM

wow, makes me wonder what Corse will be like.

I am hoping it will be available soon. I have been asking them for a couple of days now. Once I get some info, I will post it if it has not been posted already!!!

I know how fast things get posted onto this board!!

Great; thanks.

I picked mine up today and the stock exhaust just will not do.
You can't even hear it from in the car.
I want some rumble but not too much in the cab.
These seem good due to being axle back systems.

ZZcamaro 05-12-2009 11:45 PM

I will let everybody know retail pricing when it is released, unless somebody beats me to it. But I am not soliciting any sales in this thread. That is only in the vendor forum, I am not trying to get myself in any trouble!!

BRobes05 05-13-2009 10:51 AM

first one for sure

Nova65 05-13-2009 11:14 AM

Will they do a v-6 exhaust since most of the Camaros sold will be v6?

01pewterz28 05-13-2009 11:24 AM

Lets get a GMMG chambered exhaust on one of these SS's :D

69Firebird 05-13-2009 11:27 AM

I hope these are come in around 400-$500 considering they are Axel back not Cat Back.
Sure a Corsa or Borla Cat back would be sweet, but I'll pass on the $1200 price tag.

"Loudmouth" is SLP's loudest/least restrictive exhaust. I've got it on my '01 SS. The guys at SLP asked me if I was absolutely positive I wanted something that loud. On 4th gen F-Body "Loudmouth" removes the mufflers and includes one resonator aft of the Y-pipe. With my Kooks headers I have fullfilled Homer Simpson's dream: "When I gun the motor I want the world to think it's coming to an end!"

Downside is serious resonance in-car at 1900-2100 RPM and the innability to have a conversation above 3500 RPM... to which I say F@&K Yeah!

5th gen may be different since the cars have true duals and an H-pipe.

"Loudmouth II" has a different resonator and low-restriction mufflers on 4th-gens.

ChevyBoiSS 05-13-2009 12:14 PM

yeah i think you guys are saying louder because your hearing it on a computer.. do you really want something that loud and obnoxious?

sharpcamaro 05-13-2009 12:55 PM

What will the aftermarket parts do with your warranty??
