Nitto NT555r

Alright guys, im contemplating on buying drag radials at my local discount tires.
They are offering me the Nitto NT555r because they said it was the best for the size I was looking for and also considering its my daily driver. What are your guys thoughts on these tires? Should I? because i love how the NT05r looks, but it would mean me getting new rims and I honestly love the black rims that came with the ZL1.

you do not have to buy new rims for the nt05r 315/20 tires.

I just had NT05R's installed on stock wheels and they fit fine. They are the better DR of the two Nittos. I wouldn't DD them because they have a very soft compound with only 6/32" of tread. That translates into a quick wearing tire.
