On the peters chevorlet website, it says theres a 1lt IBM camaro, im 99.99 percent sure its mine, but cant go up there until about 30 minutes, so im freaking out. haha im probably not going to be able to pick it up tomorrow but im definetly going to see it today. I cant wait, my dad needs to hurry up and get home! im going to take pictures when I get there and MAYBE ill be able to drive it, i cant wait anymore :cry:

I was in tyler last saturday seeing the movie paranormal activity, and i might go this weekend for a haunted house so ill let you know, and ill have my camaro by then, I cant wait! that would be really cool to have that picture on my desktop background. lets do it!

Anybody wanna pre run a route this weekend?

Ok so no takers on a pre-run so I went alone on this one. Found some good twisty roads north of Longview. The route I took would take right at an hour to complete the loop, depending on who leads the group.:laugh: I have another idea that could lend itself to a good photo op location that would extend the ride a little more.

The route I took was out to Harleton (449,450) then to Ore City (450). Out of Ore City I took 1649 to 555 to 154 turned on 1650 to head back to Longview. Had a close call with DPS on the straight away there:yikes: and back to town. If we detoured over to the overlook area at Lake O' Pines it might make a good photo op location with the lake in the background, not sure it's been a while since I was there.

With the time change we have lost an hour of daylight so to speak so we should take this into account on a departure time. The 7th is opening day deer rifle season and they may be on the move. Fast cars and wild animals are a bad combination out in the sticks.

hey i went to the tyler car show this past month and plan to go again. there were some people there that were saying that they got together the last saturday of every month. still waiting for the email but i THINK (i could be way off) he said there may be like 25 of 'em? anyways this last saturday of march they are meeting at el chico @ 1 on the loop in tyler... just fyi

also having a car show sunday march 28th @ 4pm to whenever in golden, tx @ lifePointe community church ( about 15 miles from Mineola going towards Greenville on hwy 69)...this month featuring all camaros and there is supposed to be a rep from Mother's to do some demos and stuff.. it's our first run at it but should be pretty cool- everyone's invited! no preachy stuff :)
