Oil-Level-Warning....???!!!
 hi friends over the sea.. after 1000 SS- miles without any problems there is now the display information: "low-oil-level, check oil"... i checked several times, hot and cold, the level is ok... but the sign is coming always after starting the enginge... ? :mad0260: anybody had this thing too? :help:
regs from europe / switzerland  |
I'm just guessing, but I'd change the oil if you haven't already done it, reset the DIC and see if the problem goes away. If it doesn't, then you probably need to take it in to the dealer and have their service dept look at it.

I would take it into the dealer since it should be a warranty fix if there is a problem.

Sounds like a bad sensor.
I would fathom a guess that is. I do not know it the level is read. If the pressure drops in a mechanical pressure sending unit, typically a light comes on. You could have a clogged filter or a bad sensor. |
I would have to agree take it to your dealer let them deal with it!!! Sounds like a bad oil sensor!
