Kooks Custom Headers Cruise-in and Dyno Shootout
Had a blast at the Kooks Facility event in Statesville, NC today. Alot of nice cars and a whole lot of horsepower! Good to see CamaroFreak and Blade again. Dyno numbers looked good considering it was 90 degrees with 44% humidity.... My L99 with Airaid CAI, Kooks LT Headers, Magnaflow Competition Catback and Diablo(*******) Custom Tune yielded
356 RWHP and 373 Torque. The Dyno crew forgot to turn off traction and stability control before the pulls(threw service stabiltrack and ABS codes after requiring a quick reflash in the parking lot to reset) but i dont think it would have changed the numbers very much. My initial pull yielded 367 rwhp but the sensor for torque malfunctioned and didnt give a number. Thanks to Kooks and ProDyno for hosting the event. Video of my pulls: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCnz6Aho5RI Video of Blades pull: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4EBIBQmgAI Pics: http://s781.photobucket.com/albums/yy93/ukalumni93/Kooks%20Custom%20Headers%201st%20Annual%20Dyno%20S hootout/ Enjoy. |
Noice! Thanks for taking the video. I think that heat and humidity affected the numbers a lot today. I wanna see what I get during like the fall.
BTW...........my Stabilitrak alerts come on after each dyno too. But they go away after I drive a couple miles. |

Enjoyed it today man. Yours and Blade's cars did very good. I think I am going to check into getting a tune for mine. Then we can get together again for a Dyno Day this fall, when its not a 100 degrees outside. LOL We need to all start getting together regularly. Talk at cha soon.
