18 in. Rear wheels for Racing

I'm looking for a set of 18 inch rear wheels. I want to have these just for going to the track. Need something in black to match the 1LE wheels. They don't need to be a perfect match. I will use a M/T drag radial 305/45/18. Just want to make sure it clears the caliper/rotor. What's everyone using? All I have found was Bogart and Weld. Not looking to spend 1,000 on a set of wheels I mayl use once a month. :thanks:

Try looking at TSW Nurburgring, TSW Interlagos, Forgestar F14, or Forgestar CF5. They are all available in black 18" sizes that will fit over the Brembo Brakes. Or, you can shop for a Corvette Reproduction wheel in a 18x9.5 (+40mm offset), which will probably be your cheapest option if you are JUST looking for rear wheels. FYI....You WILL have to clamp back your emergency brake cable to keep it from rubbing on the inside lip of the wheel. No other modifications should be required for 18's.

I bought a set of front C5 Z06 replicas. 18x9.5 w/ 40mm back spacing. I think that's the right back spacing. Paid less than $300 and plasti-dip painted them. Now sending them out for powder coat in something close to IOM.

9.5" since it is the correct offset.

Craig B 07-09-2013 05:35 PM

Looks like a lot of places our out of stock on M/t P305/45R18 DR.

Denis 07-09-2013 05:48 PM

9.5 is good. You can always go with with Nitto DR's if the mickys are out of stock.
