New Dates and Date nights this summer at Texas Motorplex

June 12, 2009 - Friday nights just got hotter at Texas Motorplex with added dates in the Fast Friday series, and ladies will be FREE.

Gates open each night at 6pm, and the track heat up from 7pm-midnight. Starting June 26, you can see some of DFWs fastest street cars! These nights the track is open to anyone who has a street legal car, car groups, clubs, forums, and race cars to test & tune. These events are part of the NHRA Street Legal Drags, presented by AAA Texas.

Bring your STREET LEGAL car out and take a drag down our 1/4mile concrete track. Maybe your car will be fast enough to join the 100MPH CLUB! Sign your name to the 100MPH CLUB LIST and get a decal to prove you’re fast!

Make Fridays a date night at Texas Motorplex, since LADIES GET IN FREE!!!

Roll up to the gate and purchase your Tech Card for $15, see one of our tech officials, then drive up to your designated Staging Lane. All Friday night racing is Heads Up, no dial ins. No eliminations. Keep coming back to the lanes for another chance to show the crowd what your car can do.
Car Clubs should call the track at 972-878-2641 to arrange for special requests.

Brochures are also available should you need some “coaching” on the finer points of drag racing.

This is soooo cool! I hope to go out & watch (since I dodn't have my car yet!). Love this idea... great opportunity for folks to get their cars out & race...without doin' it on the street. :headbang:
