What Does GM do with all these Camaro's?
 

So like what is going to happen to all the Camaro's that are not production or Captured Fleet? Do GM employess get to keep them, do they get crushed?

Just wanted to know since there seem to be alot of them out there. Would be a waste to destroy them.

I'm not sure. But i think they do get destroyed. The CTF cars get sold as used cars if I'm not mistaken.

The test fleet will be recycled.

I'll buy a used one right now. I'll pay cash for it if I can take delivery of it now. :bellyroll:

Some of the later, full-production CTF cars can be sold as used cars...but earlier ones, and all the prototype mules get crushed and recycled due to being non-saleable....:cry:

Jeez that sucks. I would at least let employess drive them around as a benefit or something.

So if the CTF cars are going to be sold as used they would have production vins. I guess when they started making them they must have started with vin 0002 to keep 0001 for Rick Hendrick's auction car? Or do you think they left the first 10-20 vins reserved? :iono:

They don't have to reserve 00001 as the very first production car's vin is 100001 with the rest starting at 00001. If you look at the production ready cars at the car shows you'll see some of them are in the low teens with the lowest I've see at 00013. I wouldn't be surprised if the first 200 or so is already used.
