first problem with Camaro

3800 miles: error message in DIC telling me to roll down window and roll it back up. I try this and it does not clear the error message. Accompanying problem is that the window up auto function doesn't work anymore (have to hold the button up to close the window. I searched and found some questions about window indexing but it does not seem to be the same problem.

Can someone direct me to any threads that discuss this issue (if they exist)?

Thanks,
Robert

It's the guillotine function. It's broken. Don't stick your head out the window :D

If you follow the instructions it gives you and it still won't clear the error message, I would say just take it in to the dealer to figure it out.

Roll down and hold for 3 seconds, roll up and hold for 3 seconds. That should reset the computer and the DIC.

You may need a computer reset. Take it to your dealer. Quick fix (hopefully)

Make sure the car isnt running when you do it. Just in the on position.

Mine always does that if I jump in, hit the key and roll the window down too fast. Like before the window functioning computer has time to process or something?

Then when I reset it, it usually takes more than once up and down before it gets right again.

First one I test drove had that same error. Dealer reset the computer... at least that's what they told me. Must have been fixed cause they sold the car
