I live right next door to the town of Bridgeville and bought my 2010 Silverado from Colussy, shop at Sarasnicks, post office, do benefit runs for the fire department, etc., etc. It's a cool little town.

I agree. All great episodes except #6's green energy, electric vehicle nonsense. The geat American farce.
I bet everyone can't wait too drive those phone booths around.

What a fine reflective tribute to the large minded forward thinkers of GM and the strengths of smallville Americana!

Never fret friend, by the time the personal sized electric Ute becomes a household norm....you'll be long parted from your spouse and best friend (Lab), your kids will be middle aged singles tooling around the planet in their Ute, living high on the hog on their inheritence................

I diasgree. On an episode of Jay Lenos Garage he said, and I agree, that he supports all the electric, hybrid, hydrogen car development. He said that as they becme more frequent, there will be more gasoline available for the older cars and those of us that love them.

PercyJWellingtonIII 12-30-2011 08:35 PM

On the phone now with my realtor, looking for a luxury Hi-Rise condo in Bridgeville.:drinking:

I cant agree witht hat at all... its going to be a few more decades before we get smart like that.. or DUMB... long as these chevy's are apart of our heritage.. they will be on the open road.. not just seen in a museum.. they cant mandate we switch to these deathdraps.

SKERIS 12-31-2011 05:20 AM

What's a Volt? LMFAO.

AngelSpeedFreak 12-31-2011 12:42 PM

gave me chills... love the stories. Great job.

nascarnate326 01-01-2012 05:37 PM

I think Ep 6 was more for people that live in major cities, they are useless for much of America.

My favorite part was the last Ep. "Cars arnt just for transportation"

Amwellls1 01-02-2012 02:17 PM

Cool, but that sure does not look like the Bridgeville I am familiar with. They did a good job on this.

Sales @ CAI Inc 01-02-2012 02:43 PM

Its true, Chevy runs deep!

I want to know where to put my groceries on the EN-V.....At least I have a decent boot on my Camaro...

B1G-AL 01-03-2012 12:20 AM

As for episode #6...it always blows my mind when I see the average person (not a car enthusiast) look at some ugly ass concept car like that and say its a good idea! If the rest of the world wants to drive one of those stripped down smart cars be my guest, I'll proudly stick with my fleet of guzzlers...vehicles are not just a means of transportation...they are a lifestyle! I'm tired of everyone trying to take the "life" out of them!

KevinK 01-03-2012 07:54 AM

Good stuff :)

...along the lines of the Chevy runs deep commercials... http://www.chevrolet.com/culture/ar...younger-family/

oramac0002 01-04-2012 08:37 PM

Great stories about the small town and how they have to the oldest chevy dealership. I know what would convince those kids to think otherwise about electric vehicles. Just pull up a 69 camaro copo or yenko with its 427 just rumbling away and spewing out hydrocarbons with that deep rumble will win over anyone that thinks that chevy is the heartbeat of America. It is our lifestyle and as long as we keep passing down this love for chevy cars and trucks we are going to be alright in the future or at least I hope so.

ShellsPACam 01-05-2012 07:52 AM

Thats where I got my Camaro from....nothing but great things to say about Colussy.
