Solo Performance exhaust with High Flow Cats with sound clip

Finally got a decent sound clip of my car. The setup is:

Solo Performance Mach X-LFX cat back exhaust
Solo Performance High Flow cats
Cold Air Induction by CAI
Ported Throttle Body

Have had this setup for over a month...no CEL lights....no problems at all.

Sounds much better with ear buds...but Ok without. Thanks to my buddy Tim (tjk_art) for making the sound clip for me!

It is a compilation of 3 videos...one at idle one at take off and one drive by...

No drone at all. That is one reason I went with the Solo Performance exhaust. The J pipes stop the drone! That is why I didn't go with the MRT 2.0 as well....or similar exhaust. the Ported Tb is OK...good bang for the buck...it helped the dead spot some...and that is what I was after.

that sounds really good bro, makes me seriously consider getting the solo hfc...I just the got the MRT v2 exhaust and I love the sound so I'm scared to mess it up lol

KMPrenger 01-13-2013 03:05 PM

That sounds awesome!

Congrats!!! Solo makes great Catbacks 4 lower price than most out there. If anyone is thinking of upgrading to catback, Solo is the way to go:)

Aww man, why no revs? :iono: lol

Thanks! The HFC's are definitely going to make it a little louder, deeper...a buddy of mine has the MRT 2.0 and side by side mine is louder and deeper at idle than his (not obnoxiously) and I feel it is because of the the HFCs. Plus I feel like the car is more responsive now with the HFCs.

Could not agree more. I was on the fence when I ordered and am so glad I did now. To me, Solo has the best sounding exhaust, for the v6, on the market.

:sm0: I know what you mean! All those idle to rev to idle videos are confusing to me! :D
