what about for version 1.0?
|
I like this version. Not to loud, but still load enough to hear it and 100 times better then the stock exhaust.
It only sounds a little quieter then the AR25's. I kept playing the 2 videos back and forth. They are close but different. This system actually sounds like it has a little less of the raspy noise coming from it when revving the engine. Let me know when they get back on this project to finish it up. This might be the one I finally decide to buy. So far I haven't been able to make up my mind about which exhaust system to go with. |

True, but the checkbook is in her purse, lol. Not too mention, she makes about 2.5 times the salary I make. I am king in name only, lol.

But if it makes you feel any better the prophet Elias slew 450 prophets of Baal but shortly thereafter ran away from the threats of one woman, Jezabel. |
v2 sounds even better. Any other sound clips?

LMAO...I will get the exhaust. It's just the typical banter between husband and wife. I can have whatever I want, she gets whatever she wants. It's equal, I just don't care about the money. She is in charge of the checkbook, she makes more money, but we are equal in what we get, if we want it. Anyway, I wish SEMA would end and the pricing on v2 would arrive, lol. |
Ok... here's an update on version 2.0 performance...
Started the day on the dyno.... Much to my surprise the car's dyno numbers with version 2.0 were actually better than version 1.0. Pulling up the weather conditions we can see that the weather was in fact a bit more favorable today.... Here's the dyno sheet: http://www.johnnystacks.com/gallery/...-1/v2_dyno.jpg I then headed to the race track. Best pass of the day was 14.335 @ 96.85 MPH. http://www.johnnystacks.com/gallery/...1/slip_coc.jpg Now this slightly slower than my best which was 14.323 @ 97.75 MPH. Looking at the weather however shows that today's weather was not as good as when I ran the 14.32... If you adjust for the weather the times are basically identical... Did get a a video... Thanks to efpardo who ran my camcorder. He also made some passes in his car! For the first time running his car at a drag strip he did a great job!!! So here is the video... I did notice on the first pass the sound kind of gets a bit funky in the middle... I had the shotgun mic on the camcorder and had it set to "zoom" so it was switching between the shotgun mic and the internal mic as the camera is zoomed in and out... |
