Showing them a 3.8 GPA or better report card would also lower it, however I didn't even come close to that, ironically enough because I had all the freedom of my license and wasn't about to waste time with school...god I was such a dumbass, and now I'm a teacher. Karma bites me in the ass constantly as I get to teach versions of me all the time and :mad0259: |

I am contemplating now getting my camaro re-painted with the Valspar Sunrise. A big thanks to Pinkcamaro as well for letting me know that the price would not be so high after all.. |

i think arguing about whether or not a 16 should drive a 422 hp car is a waste of time...
if his dad was SMART enough to have made enough money to spoil him like that. than he ought to be SMART enough to know not to. |

If your a young Male rates will be HIGH, SORRY. My son is 20 and pays $4000 a year for a Chevy AVEO. NO tickets.

Dude, I'm 21 and saving for a Camaro V8. I'm going to be paying college by myself, yet I live at home and pay no bills and MY job is full time- that's about the only advantage I have. I'll be paying the insurance and the monthly payments.
My suggestion to you is, since I know I can't talk you out of going for the V8 (really, that's like trying to offer love advice - they'll never listen to you anyway), is to at least save for a massive down payment. You can't modify how much your insurance payment will be, but you can modify how much your monthly payments can be by putting a lot more down. Assuming a V8 SS with nice options is around ~35K (I really hope I get conveniently surprised), my payment will be around $250.00 a month since I plan to put 25K down. The insurance doesn't seem so intimidating anymore, does it? But it will be. It strangles the hell out of you at your age. |
