I have this issue also in my 2011 RS - It isn't just that the speech isn't picked up on bluetooth... so it can't be my phone! It will not pickup regular voice commands when sitting quietly in the car in my garage with no background noise(for example: Pressing talk button, waiting for tone, saying "help" or "xm channel 10" or "onstar info"). When I THOUGHT it could be my phone, I deleted my phone config from bluetooth and then tried to re-configure it. Unfortunately I can't even add it back now because at the end of the phone pairing you have to "SAY" the name you want to use for the phone... The MIC is off/broken/shotty, so I can't pair again. It always errors on all voice rec & she says something like "No input heard" or something like that.

One note: Once upon a time we had found a setting somewhere to turn the voice recognition microphone ON/OFF... the description was convoluted, but I believe we tried it and it fixed the problem for a while. I've combed through all the settings and can't find it anywhere. If anyone sees microphone related settings PLEASE POST INSTRUCTIONS!!!!

Thanks
me
